The United States. What a complex mix of opportunity and missed opportunity. Privilege and despair. Class. Separation. Coming together and conflict. Somewhere in all of this there are myriad rituals, aspirations, normalcy, banality and whatever else that represents the daily comings and goings that constitute the activities of this human theater. These glimpses, these scenes from civic life, seek to show but a glimmer of that complex embroidery.
